I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and I have more than 25 years of board, management and consulting experience from Denmark and abroad.

I was the co-founder of AS3. I sold my share of AS3 when the company had 200 employees in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. At AS3, I was responsible for establishing the company's divisions in the three other Scandinavian countries. I was also responsible for the partnership with Lee Hecht Harrison in the United States.

Today, as a chairman of the board, board member, consultant and investor in small- and medium-sized Danish growth companies. The consultancy tasks include, among others, the search for growth capital from venture funds, the project management of sales processes as well as research and establishment of departments abroad.

I am active in 8 boards, 6 of which I am the chairman. I have my experiences compiled in the manual "The 7 steps", which you can read more about in a later section.

My approach to a board position will always be a thorough initial research and dialogue. Then, we can mutually determine if there is a basis for co-operation. Often, a collaboration can start with a specific consultancy task. In collaboration with Karina Boldsen, I have written "The 7 Steps". We put a lot of emphasis into NOT producing a book. “The 7 Steps” is a working tool. A manual.

In the first part of the manual, follow the 7 steps that contain questionnaires and checklists that you can apply according to your organisation’s needs.

Depending on your experience, your position, the current challenge and/or the problem at hand, you can choose to take every step, step by step. Or you can just take the step that you need.

The second part consists of several debate and inspirational articles, where it is possible to have a deeper understanding of selected areas of the work of the board.
